Observing Jack Hamster 2
When Jack was awake, he seemed to occupy himself with eating, rebuilding his nest in the exercise wheel, or trying to escape. He could have climbed out of his habitat if I left the door open or loose. He would climb to the opening to get a piece of walnut. It made me feel sorry for him. Poor little creature. He was born into a caged environment and will never live in a natural habitat. Of course, his instincts were very much intact!
God created a most beautiful and perfect world. The sun, moon, and other planets move in harmony with God’s creation. Each bird has its own song. There are so many wonders! Regretfully, Eve and Adam decided that if they ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, they would be as smart as God. In sinning, they actually were forced to leave their perfect environment.
Kaden, Jack’s owner, provides a clean habitat, healthy food, water, and entertainment. So why does Jack Hamster want to escape? Freedom to do his own thing. I do the same thing when I live outside the boundaries of God’s place for me.
The safest place for Jack is in his comfy cage.
The best and safest place for us is in God’s will.
